Ever come home from and just look at how much you need to do to square the place up and make it look as good as it should? Then meet Rumu. Developed by Robot House, this new robot house cleaning game is going to be a major vacuum cleaner simulation of the future, if it grows at the rate expected. It’s essentially a self-aware vacuum cleaner that cleans where it should, allowing you to literally hop into the ‘body’ of a vacuum cleaner and play a game.
Mary Poppins always said that a good cleaning job can be turned into a game, right?
As smart appliances continue to grow up and become more popular than ever, the likes of Rumu are going to make a huge difference to the cleaning market. It will give you a much better idea of what it would actually be like to be a cleaner essentially, allowing you to see the world from its eyes.
Made by a small Sydney-based team of developers, this interesting little game is going to be one of the most enjoyable ways to make the experience of cleaning up a little more enjoyable than it might feel at this moment in time.
You’ll be tasked with trying to clean up a fully automated smart home, following various descriptions and instructions to progress. For those who love their cleaning, this sounds like an entertaining and interesting little game that you are almost certain to fall in love with for all the right reasons!
Described with a hilarious release trailer, the official site for Rumu describes it as “When something draws you away from your home maintenance duties and into the hidden passageways and long-forgotten rooms of the house, you’ll be faced with challenging moral dilemmas forcing you beyond your programming to uncover the truth about the love and loss of your elusive family,” – sounds awesome, huh?
If you are looking for a whole new cleaning experience, one which is far more interactive, then be sure to keep an eye out for Rumu, released late 2017.
